Keeping It In #TheBridge

While we didn’t anticipate this being our first blog post of 2022, here we are. Ontario has temporarily returned to a modified Step Two of the Roadmap to Reopen, and  we’re sharing some of the ways you can continue to support your favourite local spots.

Retail Therapy

Another great way to support local businesses at this time is to shop locally from your favourite downtown shops. Luckily, retail stores are allowed to remain open at 50% capacity for whatever you need (or want) to bring a little Bracebridge into your lockdown experience. Most stores are remaining open, however, we recommend that you check in with their respective websites for details about operations at this time.

Take Out to Dine In (At Home)

Indoor dining is closed again, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still support some of your favourite local eateries during this time. While some have chosen to take this time off to recuperate after a challenging 2021, many are offering their menu for take-out or are cooking up lockdown specials to help spice up your at-home meals.

Bring the Source to You

If you’re looking to enjoy some local libations during your lockdown, our local breweries are offering curbside pick up.

Get Outside

While no one is thrilled about yet another lockdown, why not make the best of this time and explore a new trail or try a new sport?! Visit one of our local shops to get suited up and head out for some vitamin N(ature).
