Festival of Lights - The kick off to the holiday season in Bracebridge! Join us every November to jump start your holiday spirit with moonlight shopping, lighting of the lights, family games, live entertainment, live action window displays and more.

Fire & Ice Festival - Bracebridge’s most iconic event, Fire & Ice Festival is our signature winter carnival. Downtown Bracebridge comes alive with a giant tubing run down the middle of our main street. Enjoy a fun-filled day with family outside enjoying ice sculptures, games, buskers and performers, tub run, fireworks and more! This event takes place every January.

From cross country skiing and snowshoe trails, to snowmobile trails, local indoor and outdoor skating rinks, there is plenty to explore during the winter months in Bracebridge.
Hit the Trails - Cross country ski, Snowshoe, and Fat-bike through some great multi-use trails in Bracebridge. Bracebridge Resource Management Area, Bert Cross Nature Reserve, Kerr Park, or Wilson’s Falls Trail, are great areas for people of all skill levels to enjoy.
Skating - Indoor skating rinks are available at the Muskoka Foundry, and Muskoka Lumber Community Centre. Outdoor skating is available at Memorial Park (weather permitting), and Annie Williams Park.
Snowmobile - Trail networks provide a link between Northern and Southern Ontario communities in the Highways 11 & 400 corridors, translating into unlimited touring opportunities
Ice Fishing - Some lakes in our area to enjoy ice fishing include; Lake Muskoka, Spence Lake, McKay Lake, Wood Lake and Bonnie Lake.
Tobogganing - Enjoy a tobogganing run at Kerr Park.
Bird Watching - A well-known bird watching spot in Bracebridge is Strawberry Point Trail, locally known as chickadee trail.
Indoor Activities -Swimming at the Bracebridge Sportsplex, Indoor rock climing with Climb Muskoka, hit the lanes at Muskoka Bowling, visit Smash Factor for virtual golf.
