Bracebridge is a year-round destination with iconic events taking place throughout the year to add even more excitement to your trip. This year, October to January is action packed, with seasonal events, tons of live music, holiday markets and holiday celebrations! When you plan your trip, be sure to include some of these events on your to do list to spark more adventure. #VisitTheBridge!
Muskoka Cranberry Route - Until Sunday October 20th, discover a fun-filled and tasty route through Muskoka exploring all things Cranberry. From local restaurant offerings, to stay and play hotel packages and spa treatments, this route allows you to travel around the region exploring Muskoka’s love of cranberries.
Oktoberfest Muskoka - Taking place across Muskoka, enjoy live music, local craft beer and culinary features inspired by a traditional Oktoberfest. Enjoy brewery tours, food trucks, vendors, good food and drink with live performances and other events at Muskoka Brewery, Bracebridge Hall, Santa’s Village, and Muskoka Foundry! This event takes place on Saturday October 25 and Sunday October 26.
Muskoka: Home of the Stars - Enjoy stargazing, astrophotography and storytelling sessions in Bracebridge on Friday October 25, Saturday October 26 and Friday November 1. These are free sessions encouraging you to look up and discover a journey through the night sky.
Live Music Events - November is set to be a great month of live music in Bracebridge with Bracebridge Hall, Griffin Gastro Pub and Speakeasy Muskoka all playing host to some amazing local talent. On Saturday November 23, join 10 bands on 3 stages for the Countryfied Muskoka Music Festival at Muskoka Foundry! Need some inspo for your night out in Bracebridge? We’ve got you covered! Community Events and Markets - Muskoka Arts and Crafts is set to host their annual holiday art market beginning on Friday November 8, and the Bracebridge Sportsplex will host their holiday market on Saturday November 30. The new Muskoka Lumber Community Centre and Coulson Family Bracebridge Library also have an amazing schedule of events this winter season, from free skating and pick up pickleball, to family story time and craft classes.
Holiday Celebrations and Events - Kick off the holiday season in Bracebridge with our iconic Festival of Lights and Santa Claus Parade. Festival of Lights is set for Friday November 22, and will kick off the holiday season with the countdown to lighting of Downtown Bracebridge, late night shopping, meet and greet with Santa, and fireworks! Festivities continue all week long with self-guided activities and the grand finale of the Santa Claus Parade on Friday December 6th. The excitement of the season continues at Santa’s Village Santa Fest, continuing on weekends in December leading up to Christmas. Fire and Ice is Bracebridge’s signature winter carnival! Join in with exciting fire and ice features like fire artist performances, ice sculptures, skating, and the amazingly fun and unique downtown tube run. This is THE event you don’t want to miss.
