With several trails to explore on foot, snowshoe, fat bike or cross-country skis, The Bracebridge Resource Management Centre has a trail suitable for your skill level. During the winter months, dogs are welcome on marked snowshoe trails with plenty of space to roam. All trails are well marked, there are portable washrooms and picnic facilities along the way as well. Take advantage of views of the Muskoka River from the main trail and give your pup the freedom to discover this wooded centre.
Strawberry Point Trail – The perfect off-leash spot for your dog to really stretch their legs! This 5km trail has a few access points (including behind the Kerr Park Dog Park) and offers a nice walk-through tree covered area and a viewpoint of Lake Muskoka. As always, to be off-leash, dogs must be kept under control while they experience this trail alongside you.
River Walk – This short but sweet 1.5km trail follows a paved path at Bracebridge Bay. A perfect trail for a winter evening walk or a morning run, this trail can be accessed by Ecclestone Drive at Kelvin Grove Park and is well lit to enjoy all day. This is a paved walkway area that would be accessible for those using a walker, wheelchair, or stroller. Get out and stretch your legs, walking by the Bracebridge Falls and Bracebridge Wharf.
Wilson’s Falls Trail – A trail with a variety of topography including Wilson’s Falls and the Muskoka River! This is another great off-leash trail option for your pet and is just under 4km.
